I wanted to share some pictures I took of my sweet kiddos this fall.   We had a unseasonably warm day mid-November, so I took them out to a local field to see what I could get!   I’m so blessed to be their mom.    They constantly warm my heart and keep my cup full and overflowing with happiness….
I told the girls to give me a serious look and I got a ‘you-better-not-mess-with-me-and-my-sister’ look!  They crack me up!…Back in September my friend and photog,  Brittany Stover,  snapped some lovely images of my family.    I love that she sees my vision I have in my head!       Thankful for these…Which of our family pics would you vote to blow up big for our wall??  Below is our 2011 Christmas card.  I love how it turned out.  It’s a folded 4×5 accordion card printed on a watercolor paper.

Me and this momma go way back!  We met at Falls Creek when we were in junior high.  I love camp friends…you can pick up where you left off no matter how much time has gone in between visits.   It’s so fun to see her family grow.  We had a nice January day…hours before the arctic air blew in…

This week {I Heart Faces} is celebrating their 3rd year!   For their photo challenge this week they have the theme of ‘best face photo from 2011′.   I can’t help but smile when I see this image!  She is definitely one of the cutest faces I’ve had the opportunity to photograph in 2011….or ever!

I was smiling from ear to ear when these G O R G E O U S girls showed up for my Brag Book Magazine photo shoot!   I mean seriously….how fabulous are these girls?!!?!….  J Crew should be knocking on their door.   A big thanks to Loabi Boutique for providing the clothing.

It was a cold morning and this sweet gal was a champ.   She was busy, busy…I guess that helped to keep her warm!   I also got a few of her handsome big brother.   Enjoy your sneak peeks!….

For those of you who visit my blog, you know I LOVE color!   However, some of these newborn pics looked so great in black & white.   This handsome guy was around 10 weeks old so we were able to get a lot of awake shots.   Isn’t he presh??!!….

Here is one of my favorite sassy girls and her sister.  She tells her mom that she likes me because I am funny!   SHE is the funny one, she cracks me up.

I love this family with my whole heart.  We’re “hot dog friends”.   We coined that term long before either of us had kiddos.   Meaning…we can get together for dinner and just have hot dogs, no need to impress!   I truly cherish their friendship and look forward to watching our families grow in the years to come.  I loved how these images turned out!   I think I might even hang one of their family pics in my own home.  Enjoy your preview ’B’ fam (…and let’s go look at lights soon!)

I had a great session with this fun, newly engaged couple! Andrew is a marine and just left last week to go back overseas, so I know Tyka is anxious to see these…

This little guy made his way into the world a little early…which suits his spunky personality!   He was so sweet.   I actually took his parent’s engagement pics a few years ago.   So fun to see their family grow!   …and our kiddos are actually cousins…somewhere, somehow down the line!  (I’m sure my hubby’s grandpa will fill me in at Thanksgiving on how that works!)   Here’s a few from our session…

This family was so sweet.    They reminded me of my own family and it gave me a glimpse of what my fam might resemble in a few years.    The kiddos seemed to really enjoy one another and they just had a fun chemistry together.    Aren’t they presh?….

It was fun getting to know this family a little better…they kept me laughing!   The kiddos were especially excited to have their grandparents there joining in on the fun, too.   Although, I think the grandparents thought I was crazy with the location I chose.  I’m glad they trusted me and my vision…I hope they are pleased with the results!
Grandpa’s name is Buddy, so we thought this would be a fun pic!

We had such a wonderful evening to take family pics!  It’s hard to believe that their youngest was one of my first  ’subjects’ when I took my first photography class.  I think she was under two years old at the time!   M fam…I know you all have been patiently waiting to see these, enjoy….

How cute is this family?!   We first met this couple back when we were newlyweds.   So fun to see their family grow!  Holly is also a wonderful photographer in the Edmond area.  I just love all these pics of her and her little guys…precious!  As photographers, we both know that it’s hard to get on the other side of the camera sometimes!  Enjoy your previews…

I had to share one from my session tonight with my brother’s family. My nephew is a little mover…so I was thrilled to capture this!

We used to go to church with this sweet family when we lived in Texas.   They just got back from Hawaii the day before our shoot….nice and relaxed!    Here’s a few from our session…

These kiddos are regulars on my blog…and I’m so glad because they are just precious!   They were pretty serious for this shoot, which is a look I love!

You know how the song goes…OOOOOOklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plain! ….at 500 miles per hour!    I don’t think you can tell from these pics, but it was SO windy for our session.   We managed though and came out with some great images!   Enjoy your sneak peek ‘C’ fam….

How sweet is this little guy?!   He gave me some eye contact for the first few shots, then just slept and slept…perfect!
